Blood trickle down as he walks down a path where the dead lies. Sweat and tears are nothing but a nuisance as they fight for their lives, and most especially, their freedom. Many have sacrificed, but many innocents died as well. What have they done to deserve this? Our heroes sacrificed for our freedom. The freedom that we long to have. We need to live a life of freedom.
Philippines is a country with many resources or as we
call in Filipino ‘kayamanan’. That is why many foreigners wants to conquer our
land, the Philippines. But in spite of those threats, we strive for our
freedom, for our peace. You need to pay before you can get what you want. The
determination of our heroes to fight for our freedom overwhelms me. To think
what they have gone through, a rough path full of blood, dead bodies, and tears
are a sign of bravery and hard work. That is one of the many characters of
Filipinos that we all admire.
June 12, 1898, the day where we gained our freedom. Marks
the day of our victory. Peace and serenity fill our land. We rejoice, singing
and shouting. Tears of joy filled our faces. We gained what we deserved from
the start. We gained the freedom that we long and wished for. Praise everyone!
Praise our almighty heroes! The fear and struggles disappear through thin air
as we sing our National Anthem. What we have been through is enough. Nothing
can stop us now.
Philippines is The Land of the Mourning. We mourn for our
heroes that sacrifice for us as well as we rejoice for our freedom. We are the hope that everyone needs. The first, second, and third generation of people
doesn’t matter. What matters is our peace and freedom, so let us stay and be
the one to prove that humanity is back.
Let us celebrate the day of our independence as we live a
life of freedom.
