I'm a junior high school, specifically, a Grade 10 student that was about to enter a new chapter in life, that is to be a senior. I'm a little bit nervous because I know that I will be separated by my classmates that I have been since Garde 7. But, I'm also excited because there'll be a whole new ordeal that I will experience, with my new classmates.
This school year has been the greatest year that I'd experience. Even though we've had our arguments, problems and failures, we were united, we were happy with what we've got and always been grateful with each other. This experience I've got nurtured me to become what I am today.
With this experience, I will cherish forever, especially, my section which is 10-Marconi.

My Dream, My Future
I grew up planted on my mind that I will be a doctor, but, as I entered the kitchen, it's like my mind drifted off and dream that I was in a coat where I am a Chef in a famour restaurant. I cannot help but hesitate.
I am confused, I do not know what to become and what to be in thefuture. I think deeper, I am in a deep thought, and... At last!
I want to be a chef and this dream will be my future.

Kannawidan
Ilocos Sur has a rich heritage of unique cultures that are to be preserved. We celebrate Kannawidan to highlight the cultures and tradition of the Ilokos. It is also a time to commemorate the anniversary of Ilocos Sur as a province since it was separated on February 3, 1818.
This year's Kannawidan officially started on January, 29, 2020.
Locals and even tourists look forward to this wondrous celebration for it is the greatest and the grandest festival in Ilocos Sur. Ilocos Sur celebrates Kannawidan in late January and the early February.
There are many activities in Kannawidan such as the mind blowing street dance, the jaw dropping dance showdown, the beauty and brains Saniata, and many more heart stopping contests. There are also performances where you can see and watch your favorite artists. In this year's Kannawidan, artists like Parokya ni Edgar, and Ben and Ben are here to make teenagers scream.

Change; It Starts With Me
3 Steps in Changing Yourself
"Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself."
I came across of this quote while browsing the internet for an essay of, 'Change; It Starts With Me'. It's funny that I'm writing an essay that has a theme of 'change' when I cannot seem to change my dirty ways of writing, searching. All we want to do and say is change the world for the better but even our own selves have no indication to change for the better.
How can we change the world if even our own selves cannot change? It is important that before we think of changing the world, we first need to change the one inside of us.
There are three steps in changing ourselves for the better:
1. Take small actions. Take a look of your surroundings or the ones around you if they are hurt with what you are saying. Take a look if they don't like what you are doing, if they don't like your attitude. This is when you know that you need to change that certain attitude for the better. These small actions can help you in changing for yourself.
2. Ask for help. In changing, it is important that we know who can help us in changing. You are important, each and everyone of us are important to receive help from others. It's not a sign of weakness but a sign of determination and strength to change.
3. Prove that you are confident. Confidence is the key to everyone's fear. People sometimes think to change but is afraid of failing, but when you have the confidence to change for the better, this is the right time to prove that you can change. Nothing will go wrong if you have confidence to make a change for yourself.
These are the three steps in changing. What will you do first? Remember that when changing the world, it starts with you.
